Pumpkin Spice "Wake-up" Shake

Forget about that overpriced, over-caffienated, wayyyy over-sweetened pumpkin spiced whatever at your local coffee shop. Reward your workout efforts with this delicious pumpkin spice shake that meets your macros, and your pumpkin coffee cravings all in one glass!


Ingredients

  • ½ cup organic cold brew coffee

  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almondmilk

  • 2oz liquid egg whites

  • ⅔ cup plain or vanilla organic greek yogurt (plain/fat free used for recipe)

  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin puree

  • 1 Tbsp organic grade A dark maple syrup

  • Splash vanilla extract

  • Dash cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice


Preparation

Add all ingredients to a blender, mix well & enjoy!


Tips

Using vanilla yogurt will give this a sweeter taste.  The amount of cold brew coffee can also be adjusted depending on the level of “wake-up” you want in your shake!  If using more than ½ cups, I would recommend decreasing the amount of almond milk used to keep a thicker consistency.  Vanilla protein powder can also be substituted for yogurt, but will result in a thinner consistency.
