Missin' Summer Smoothie
November weather gotcha longing for one more warm summer day? Here's the next best thing- a little summer in a smoothie- with some strong nutrition to boot!
5 medium strawberries
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almondmilk
½ cup plain non-fat organic Greek yogurt
½ cup liquid egg whites
½ tsp coconut extract (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender, mix, & enjoy!
Any milk, or flavored greek yogurt of choice can be substituted here, just account for the extra macros! With the low fat content, but moderate carbs & protein, this is an excellent pre or post workout snack!
