Maple Cookie Oats
1/2c quick cook rolled oats
1/2c liquid egg whites (pasturized)
1/4c unsweetened almondmilk (or milk of choice)
1Tbsp chia seeds
¾ tsp pure vanilla extract
½ tsp maple extract/flavor (optional)
Cinnamon (to taste)
½ -1Tbsp crushed nuts (pecans/walnuts work well)
Place dry ingredients into a mason jar, then add wet ingredients.
Stir with a spoon, or secure jar lid & shake gently.
Enjoy your prepped breakfast cold, or warmed in the microwave for 1 minute!
Get creative with your overnight oats!! You can add berries, bananas, seeds, nut butter, mini chocolate chips- what ever your favorite flavors are! Also, chia seeds are an excellent thickener and excellent source of Omega 3 fats! Just remember to account for all those add-ins in your macros!
